What is noknok?
In a nutshell: noknok brings Social to Local!
- noknok is an App helping you to connect to local people in your immediate surrounding.
- Humans are social animals who need (direct) social interaction between each other.
- Although human interaction is so important, we often struggle getting in contact with strangers.
- Social media platforms have shown that people are much more comfortable to interact virtually and «dare» to reply / contact and respond virtually.
- nokok uses this «virtual openness» to do the first step, to contact strangers and ideally continue the interaction Face2Face.
- Technically, noknok uses your location data / Bluetooth signal to see who is around you and allows you to view their (approved) profile, start chatting with them or “shoutout” virtually to all people around you.

How does the App work?
The App uses Bluetooth to find people around you. So make sure Bluetooth is always enabled.
In what radius will the App find people?
As we are relying on the Bluetooth signal of your mobile phone, the maximum range is about 30 metres.
Which people will be displayed?
Only people having installed the noknok App will be listed. (depending on their privacy settings)
